so...not having a ton of tournament experience, online or otherwise, I experienced the joys of what chip count is used for the other night: your rank in this world.

Playing a SnG the other night on Party I found myself in what is beginning to be a typical situation, short-stacked, blinded all-in, in 4th place. Why was this different? Well, the 3rd place stack went all-in as well. We both busted out. And I was cheerfully told by the lovely folks at Party: "you have once again finished out of the money and in 4th place. You are banished to the realm of 4th place 'winners.' Now go to bed little boy."

But wait! Shouldn't we have split the 3rd place money? Of course not...chip count is everything...
